“BFWG is looking forward to welcoming our European opposite numbers at the Meet and Greet celebrations in London May 29th and 30th 2015. We have much to share with you regarding the events we undertake, the scholarships we offer to postgraduates, the emergency grants for students in financial difficulty and the opportunities we offer for students to present their research. Members are attending from all over Great Britain including three of our current Vice Presidents, our CIR representative Professor Cynthia Burek and our CER representatives Heather Hawkes and Sue Ouvry together with our Chair of Finance Jennie Landsberg. This event offers a very special opportunity for us to interact informally, to benefit from cross fertilization of ideas, and to learn about our differing ways of life on a backcloth of very special settings at Europe House and The Italian Cultural Institute. We are confident that you will much enjoy your stay in our capital.
The event which focuses on informal gathering and sharing knowledge on the UWE Action Program is a cooperation between the UWE board and the British Federation of Women Graduates (BFWG) and will prove to be a lively event at the Europe House central in London in the West Minster area and at the Italian Cultural Institute, Belgrave Square. You will be able to participate in several workshops and meet the members of the UWE Board as well as the Gender expert of the INGO Conference of the Council of Europe Anne Negre in an informal setting according to this program:
Thanks to the hosting institutions we offer the program and ask a registration fee of 10 pounds. If you decide to join the optional dinner at the University Women’s club (30 pounds) and the High Tea (20 pounds) please let us know which parts you will attend at:
